Cancelling your subscription
The one-click cancel and what happens to your site afterward.
How to cancel
There's no retention maze and no phone call. To cancel, open your Billing settings and choose to cancel your plan. It's confirmed in a click. You cancel anytime — there's no minimum term and no early-exit fee. If you're on a monthly plan, you won't be charged again; if you're on an annual plan, you keep what you've paid for until the term ends.
What happens to your site
Cancelling stops the paid service, but your work isn't deleted:
- Your site comes off your custom domain and is no longer served on the paid plan.
- Your project remains in your account — pages, content and edits are kept.
- You can keep building and editing for free, exactly as you did before publishing.
In short, you drop back to the free Build state rather than losing everything.
How to come back
Returning is just as quick. Open Billing, choose Go live (or Security plus) again, and your site can be republished to your domain. Because your project stayed in your account, there's nothing to rebuild — you pick up where you left off.
If you're cancelling only because of a quiet season, remember you can stay on the free plan and keep the site maintained, then republish the moment you're ready. You don't have to lose momentum to stop paying.
