Who we are

Avago is a website builder operated by WebHero Ltd (“Avago”, “we”, “us”). We're registered in England & Wales. Our registered address is on Companies House.

We are the data controller for personal data you give us when you sign up for Avago. We act as a data processor for the personal data your site collects from your own visitors.

What we collect

From you (the Avago account holder):

• Account: name, email, password hash, company name, billing currency.
• Site content: anything you upload, paste or generate inside Avago.
• Billing: Stripe handles card details; we only see the last four digits and country.
• Usage: pages viewed inside the Avago app, errors hit, features used.

From your visitors (through your published site):

• Analytics (pageviews, sources, devices) — only if you turn analytics on.
• Form submissions you collect via Avago forms.
• Order data if you run an Avago store.

How we use it

We use the data above only to:

• Run the Avago service — generate, host and serve your site.
• Bill you and process refunds.
• Email you about your account, your sites, and the occasional product update.
• Improve Avago — aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your site content to train third-party AI models. We do not share visitor data with advertisers.

Who we share it with

A short, finite list of processors who help us run Avago:

• Duda — site editor and hosting infrastructure.
• Stripe — billing.
• Supabase — auth and account database.
• Anthropic, Groq — AI inference for site generation.
• Upstash, Tavily — caching and import extraction.
• Vercel — application hosting.

Every one of them is a GDPR-compliant processor. Their privacy policies are linked from ours.

Your rights (and how to use them)

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• Show you everything we have about you (subject access request).
• Delete your account and everything in it.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Export your data in a portable format.

Email privacy@avago.ai. We reply within 14 days. No forms, no dark-pattern friction.

Cookies

On the Avago app, we use a small set of strictly necessary cookies for auth and session. No third-party trackers.

On your published Avago site, you control which cookies fire. If you enable analytics or embed third-party widgets (Calendly, etc.), those will set their own cookies. Security Plus includes a cookie banner that handles consent for you.

Terms of service

Plain-English summary: you own your content, we host it; you can leave at any time and take everything with you; we can suspend accounts that publish illegal or abusive content. Full legal terms are available on request.

Changes to this policy

We'll always tell you in advance if we change anything that materially affects you. Minor wording changes happen quietly with an updated “last reviewed” date at the top.
