Setup

OAuth flow opens. Pick the workspace. Approve the Avago app. Pick the default channel for alerts.

Map forms to channels.

Each form, order and booking type can post to a different channel. Avago auto-suggests reasonable defaults (#general for forms, #orders for sales, #bookings for bookings) — change as needed.

Pick alert templates.

Pre-built attachment templates for forms, orders and bookings. Customise the title, fields shown and the click-through URL. Mustache-style template tags supported.

The questions we get about Slack.

Will Slack alerts replace my email notifications?

By default, no — both fire. You can disable email notifications per-form (or globally) once Slack is wired up, but most teams prefer the redundancy until they're sure the Slack flow is reliable.

Can different forms post to different channels?

Yes. Per-form channel routing is in the form's settings panel. Orders, bookings and analytics highlights each have their own channel setting too.

Does Slack Connect work?

Yes. If your agency lives in a Slack Connect channel shared with your client, Avago can post into that shared channel for client-visible alerts.

What if Slack is down?

Alerts queue and retry for 24 hours. After 24h, they're dropped from the queue but still visible in the Avago dashboard's notifications feed, so you don't lose them.
